The development staff at Terry College recently
welcomed two new members. Natalie Glenn has been named director of alumni
relations, and Johnie Tucker has been hired as the college’s director of annual
giving. Natalie and Johnie bring years of relevant experience to their new
roles and play a crucial role in expanding the culture of giving at Terry
College.
Natalie graduated in 2002 with a degree in Public Relations from the
Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, where she was a recipient
of the Kip Craven Memorial Scholarship. Glenn’s previous work experience has been in the private sector, most
recently as the marketing director for Athens–based Barberitos
Franchising Inc.
“It is a privilege to serve alumni of
the Terry College of Business who share a love for the University of Georgia
and strive to advance the strategic vision of the college,” Natalie said.
Johnie
is a 1999 graduate of UGA, with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communication,
who’s also pursuing a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from UGA. He
served as a development officer with UGA’s College of Agricultural and
Environmental Sciences since 2007 prior to his position at Terry College.
According
to Johnie, “I’m really excited and fortunate to be associated with Terry
College of Business. Having worked at another unit on campus, Terry has
always been looked at as a model for engaging our students, alumni, and friends
in how beneficial private support is to our overall success.”
Welcome to the family, Natalie and Johnie!
